Scottish Born Actress and Singer, Kelly Mathieson made her name in the Musical Theatre industry when she landed the lead role of Christine Daaé in the ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in the West End.
Stage credits include Mimma in Mimma (Trieste Opera House), (Eileen in Wonderful Town (Toulon Opera House), Christine Daaé in Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre, West End), Cinderella in Into the Woods (Lyric Theatre, Belfast), Nellie in South Pacific (Toulon Opera house) Tonia in Dr Zhivago (London Palladium) Alice in At last it’s Summer (London Palladium)
During her nearly 3 year award winning run as Christine Daaé, Kelly gained momentum on the concert stage performing at the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Concert Hall as a soloist and at Cadogan Hall, London where she played Tonia in the UK Premier of ‘Dr Zhivago’ as well as numerous other concerts. She later embarked on a UK tour of Christmas concerts with ‘West End International’, singing with the Royal Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Royal Northern Sinfonia. At Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Kelly joined Jason Manford as his guest soloist, at his Christmas concert. She performed at the NFL games at Tottenham Hotspur stadium singing the national anthem and represented the United Kingdom at EXPO Dubai.
